DANIEL D. PERLMUTTER
Technical Consultant & Expert Witness
Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, Daniel D. Perlmutter has over 25 years of experience as a technical advisor to both industry and attorneys. He has been deposed and has testified as an expert witness in a variety of cases dealing primarily with losses and/or injuries resulting from fires, explosions, pollution, and chemical leaks.
Dr. Perlmutter has consulting offices in Narberth, PA and Sarasota, FL.
His research focused on the dynamics and control of chemical reaction systems has yielded two books and over one hundred publications. He has served as Chair of the Chemical Engineering Department at the University for seven years during two terms and as University Ombudsman. Dr. Perlmutter's contributions have been recognized by a Lindbach Award for excellence in teaching, a Guggenheim Foundation Award for research, two Fulbright Fellowships, and the Lectureship Award of the American Association for Engineering Education. |
